It never stops in our house does it?  Now we are stripping the floors in the living area....I was slightly apprehensive because we had very little idea of the state of the floor boards....but true to form, like the rest of this little gem of a house, they are fantastic.  Just a couple need to be replaced.  The result of sanding is awesome and will be much cleaner and fresher with the dogs.  The cats are slightly perturbed this morning ..... they're rather miffed at all the changes.  At the moment one of them is perched on top of the cupboard, whereas the other one has legged it up to the bedroom!!  By the way do you like our £40 sofa? I love it - one of the best buys......

Another selection of my cards/notelets packed and ready to go!!  The sun is shining today...so I'm going to risk trying a very short dog walk.  Today is the 6 week anniversary of ripping the ligaments in my foot - so I thought I'd celebrate!!

I have a show at the end of this month and so I have started to try and get myself organised!  Yesterday I wrapped packs of five of my cards/notelets into bundles - tied them with raffia and added a painted and stitched label.  I am pleased with the result - so hopefully I shall sell some.After the Show I have promised myself to make a real effort to sell.  The trouble with me is that I keep making.....(because I love to do it) but don't put much effort into trying to sell.  People tell me that the best way to sell is on line and face-book.  I have sold a few things through Etsy before....so I  must have another go!!  Today I am off to a training course for the serious stuff of life....that makes the contrast of creativity even better!!  Have a good day x

Here are more images of the Riviera.  I spent Saturday afternoon perched precariously on the rocks trying to do some painting.  It was more precarious than usual because I still have one foot not working properly.....I can't wait to be back in proper action again.  I haven't dog walked since August....my girls look at me with sad eyes and I feel SO guilty.  Mind you, they have been out every day - but not with me!!  This morning I'm off to watch young Jack run in  sponsored race (perhaps I should join him??)

What an amazing surprise!!  When we got home Emma said "I've got a surprise for you!"   She has had the kitchen totally transformed......all the units have been professionally sprayed white. This has really opened up the space and this morning I am sitting in the conservatory - doors wide open - all opening up to create a fab. space.   It's brilliant!!

Would you believe that this is a restaurant? It's where we had lunch yesterday.  Isn't it out of this world?  It really was the most beautiful setting .  I'm sure the ambiance affects the taste of the food........Anyway, back to earth tomorrowand back to UK.  I have done some painting whilst I've been away but something has gone slightly strange with my photo library!  Must get it sorted out!!

We had an amazingly brilliant day with a friend up in the medieval perched village of Gorbio....near the Italian border.  The sun shone and we had a lunch to die for.  My goodness it's going to be hard to get back to normality in a couple of days.  Never mind  - I can dream on.  In fact, today is the sort of day that I shall remember during the long, dark, winter months.   I hope I've stored up a lot of inspiration for creativity ..... I'm keeping my fingers crossed
