I had a very happy hour splashing and dripping with paints and dyes yesterday morning. This piece is done on an old foolscap folder that I found in our filing cabinet. I first painted it with gesso....and hey presto! I now have the idea of working on our pile of christmas cards....could be a good way of re-cycling? I'm going to do some more work on it today - I want to see how far I can push it. I'll probably ruin it but it's all learning. Another bitterly cold day, but I am going to make myself go for a swim to try and ease an old back injury. I have been inspired watching a programme about the Queen. If she can work at the age of 85....there's hope for us all!! Have a good day x
