I think I've finally finished stitching over my weaving.  I am now trying to decide about presentation....do I frame it..etc. etc....I guess the main thing is, I;ve so enjoyed doing it.  I've promised myself that next year I will focus more on my own creative development, rather than churning things out to sell.  I shall continue with my dyeing/spinning and then do more weave....(full of good ideas - time will tell!!)

A good day yesterday ..... after dog walking I stitched on weave, carded fleece and had choir rehearsal ready for carols on Sunday .....

I'm quite pleased with my first batch of really chunky art yarn.  I clearly need a lot of practice....it is not easy to do, but I guess once I get the tension right, things will improve!

I'm exploring a new way of carding and spinning my dyed fleece and have decided to make a large throw during the winter to show how the colours work together.  I find it so easy (and rather cosy) during the winter months to sit and crochet squares....so here are some of the first few....Watch this space!

Well.....I've embellished my background.  Not sure what to do with it next?? It's on a small piece of felt.....shall I hand/machine stitch????

My replacement sewing machine has arrived....and so far, so good.  Let's hope this is a case of third time lucky!  It felt so good to be sewing again - so I am thinking this may be a case of a long and happy friendship.....
