Themes and links fascinate me and I am discovering that in daily life it is often possible to spot them. Yesterday Jack was thrilled to discover our friend Simon Mayo's new book in W.H.Smiths. It has had fantastic reviews and certainly looks very exciting. ... we then went to a restaurant which not only had good food, but also a water fountain. Somehow the lighting and bubbles in the water felt a bit spooky - like the book. Then of course I thought of my textiles and felt that the surface created with the embellisher connected. Hey presto! Another day - have a good one...
