I'm not sure how I've done it, but I finally seem to have got my normal blog layout back....so fingers crossed! The trouble is, I do like to play around with different settings - but sometimes get stuck!! S0 - here are a few more pics of our workshop last Sunday. As you can see - we worked very hard!!

We had a very happy workshop at the Threshing Barn today. The weather, food and company were all fantastic, and brilliant work was produced. How good it is to spend a day in the company of like minded people and simply play and enjoy creativity. We started off thinking about pockets and I took along a lot of samples to show....during the day we all seemed to do our thing.....amazing works of art were created which I shall show you on my next blog. If you see anyone walking around with zany pockets, you'll know where they've been. Tomorrow I shall be motoring down towards Oxford where I shall be for a couple of days - I'm not sure if I can get on line there so it may be a few days before I can blog again. I shall finish off by saying how it wonderful it has been to make some very good friends. I look forward

In an English country garden....a beautiful sunny autumn day was the best possible to visit a country pub in the Sussex countryside. I was treated to a fantastic lunch by a very dear friend...and the food was scrumptious. I am still getting over my fruit crumble and ice cream...yum...Also before the lunch we all (there were 3 of us) visited a design shop in Battle (well worth a visit) and a brilliant wool shop. I just couldn't resist buying just a few balls of Noro yarn - which has inspired me to start a new project. Today I am off on my travels again and look forward to running a workshop in one of my favourite places - The Threshing Barn in Staffordshire. I also get to visit family...so off I go on the road......

I'm back...or trying to be. I have had some domestic traumas recently and as a result haven't been able to get my head around blogging (combined with the fact that my camera kept going on the blink!!). Today I have put on a few colourful paintings that the children and I have done over the summer. Just looking at the colour makes me feel better, and of course at the moment we are experiencing the most glorious indian summer. I have some amazing friends, and today I'm being taken out for a pub lunch in the Sussex countryside. Enjoy the sun .... and I hope to now be back with you x
