"When you're tired of London, you're tired of life" ... so said Samuel Johnson.  Well, I'm certainly not tired of London, so clearly not at all tired of life.  I love the way the old and new live alongside each other.....and of course there is the beauty of all the London parks.  The last picture was taken a couple of hundred yards from Buckingham Palace.  For those of you who have stood at the base of the Shard, you'll realise how amazing it is.  I do think it is somewhat incongruous when you see the little window cleaning box hanging down the side of the building!  I would have though that in these days of high technology, space travel etc. etc. someone would have come up with a slightly more sophisticated window cleaning device!!!!
