I'm trying to complete my sketchbook so simply painted some strips of watercolour and stood the book upright so it all dripped!! I love the unexpected (another way of saying that I am not good at planning and painting to order....!). So New Year is now here....as usual I'm full of good intentions. I have made sure I've eaten fruit every day at breakfast (!) and once I'm mended I shall look forward to swimming. However I can walk so I'm now off for a walk along the sea front......
I love that kind of painting - and the colours are so bright and cheerful :-)

I am completely amazed to see you live in the same town as one of my son's and I love the paintings that you are doing, they are a real riot of colour. I am quite envious as my studies at the moment and our small flat where we live, make it quite difficult to do anything creative. I do miss it, although I did get busy knitting over Christmas, just not with our own alpaca wool yet.
