My last day in sun-drenched Italy - so I suppose I'd better get out the greys in my paintbox.  I have heard woeful tales of soggy Britain - so I am bracing myself.  Yesterday we swam in the sea which was great - I love it when you can just dry off within minutes...no shivering and clutching towels!!  I've had a really lovely time, and last night we were reminiscing and saying how fortunate we are to have such a good friendship....This morning we're off to pick plums from a friend's house before the heat gets too intense.  I guess that will mean jars and jars of plumb jam .....yum!  See you back in U.K.
