I was inspired by beachuts on my morning walk the other day and had a burst of creativity when I got home.  It was great playing with my gelliplated and painted papers.  I think the results in my journal indicate my love of patchwork.....hey ho .... will my enthusiasm never end???

Music while you walk!  What a lovely surprise we  had whilst wandering around the streets of Brighton yesterday.  The pianist was really good and the music created a carnival atmosphere.  I love Brighton!!!

 Creative time in my art hut with Becky and Jack.  We're having such a good summer holiday and have just been out for fab. Mexican meal to celebrate birthdays.  Today will be a good day to remember in mid winter when we are freezing cold!

I felted this scarf last winter and had forgotten I'd got it.....I wonder if there's any mileage in making some more?  It is really soft and warm and a pleasure to make....I reckon I'm talking myself into it!!  Well....the tooth came out without any problem yesterday, but as usual I had unpleasant reaction to the anaesthetic and have had a rotten migraine.  Beginning to feel more human again, which is good because my eldest granddaughter arrives today and I enjoy 'girlie' time with her.  Have a good day x

I've had a good day today.   Have been on three dog walks.....then....played with my Gelliplate....dyed some yarn and....last but not least...made some "to die for" choc chip cookies.  They are absolutely scrumptious.....much better than they look!  By the way, I hope you like my new look blog!

Im rather obsessed with my new Gelliplate at the moment, although I am still finding time to dye cloth and yarn.  This morning we had a good felt making workshop for children.  It was amazing to watch them work....they all did so well and learned very quickly.  Oh to be young!!!

Not a bad place to live.  This is the town centre in Worthing....all through the summer the kids have enjoyed the sandpit.Such a simple and yet such a brilliant way to keep the little ones happy!

More happy results from time in  my art hut.  I LOVE the Gelliplate and shall keep on playing!!

I played around with a friend's Gelliplate the other day  and this is one of my prints.  It was fantastic to do.....I so enjoyed it.  Today is my birthday....and guess what I've been given??  A Gelliplate, so I shall shortly be down to my little art hut to play!!  By the way the dyed yarn is nettle...and the roses are in out garden.....
